South Korean Customer Visits EXPANDAG Factory for Soundless Cracking Agent Field Test
In July 2026, a customer from South Korea visited EXPANDAG's production facility in Hezhou, China, for a factory inspection and field evaluation of Soundless Cracking Agent (HSCA), also known as expansive mortar or non-explosive demolition agent. The two-day visit included production facility inspection, packaging verification, technical discussions, and practical cracking demonstrations. The customer evaluated product performance under real application conditions and took samples back to South Korea for further local verification.
Factory Visit and Production Process Inspection
During the first stage of the visit, the Korean customer toured the EXPANDAG manufacturing facility and reviewed the production process, warehouse management, packaging standards, and quality control procedures for soundless cracking agent.
The customer inspected storage conditions, moisture-proof packaging methods, and export preparation procedures to understand how EXPANDAG maintains product stability during international transportation.
Product Grade Selection and Technical Discussion
During the factory tour, EXPANDAG's technical team introduced different temperature grades of expansive mortarand explained how the correct product grade depends on working temperature and application conditions.
HSCA-1: Suitable for warmer conditions (25°C–40°C)
HSCA-2: Suitable for standard temperature conditions (10°C–25°C)
HSCA-3: Designed for colder environments (-5°C–10°C)
Based on the customer's application requirements, HSCA-2 standard grade was selected for the field evaluation.
Soundless Cracking Agent Field Test and Rock Cracking Verification
To verify the real-world performance of the product, EXPANDAG conducted an on-site demonstration using 5kg of Soundless Cracking Agent.
The testing process included:
Borehole preparation:Drilling holes in natural rock according to the recommended application method.
Material preparation:Mixing the cracking agent according to the recommended water ratio.
Application:Filling the drilled holes under customer observation.
After the expansion period, clear and continuous cracks developed in the tested rock. The customer confirmed that the cracking performance met the expected application requirements.
Concrete Block Cracking Demonstration
After the outdoor rock test, EXPANDAG conducted an additional demonstration using a concrete block at the factory.
This test provided another practical example of expansive mortar performance. Visible cracks appeared after the reaction period, allowing the customer to directly evaluate the cracking effect.
